“ New year's day and our first feed of 2025. Mmmm coffee and the local from the menu please. Service and delivery of food near perfect. Food good value for money and tasty. More bread would have been nice is my only complaint. I'm fussy. This place is very close to five stars for all but, perfection is very rare. Eat here. It's good. Coffee is excellent. Fast service. Kids welcome. I'll be back. ”

“ We had got Uber eats for dinner from here several weeks earlier and really enjoyed the salads, burgers and fries so booked in for a family birthday breakfast for one of the children. The staff were fantastic going out of their way to set up for us. The place is really well decorated with lots for the children to look at and colouring provided at the table which is great. The coffee was excellent (we all got seconds). The food was really tasty - the only complaint I had (and I checked with the others later quietly too but didn't want to make a scene at the time due to the occasion), was that so many things on the breakfast menu said "smashed spuds". Well I'm a spuds girl so if I see that on a menu I'll be ordering it. Sadly there were no smashed spuds in sight. Merely cubed. They weren't great. Everything else was good though and I'll happily go back for sure, I'll just readjust my expectations before ordering. ”
“ Loved it, very cool place! First time here with hubby and teenagers for dinner in June. Booked a cushion booth online. Great website with easy booking system. Recommend booking to get the type of table you prefer, especially if it is a Friday or Saturday night. Fabulous theme and decor, service very good. Open kitchen which is always great! Great ambience which is rare in Auckland restaurants. We had quite a wait for our meals to arrive, but didn't bother us and was worth the wait as we all enjoyed our meals and they were all a really good size. Joe's kumara chips & aoli were gorgeous Hubby's steak was a bit chewy but still enjoyed it. Joe's Caesar with grilled chicken and anchovies was delicious Butcher's Window Pizza and Beef Burger were also very good. Loved the service buttons on the table, haven't seen that anywhere (in the world) before, great idea! HIGHLY recommend we will definitely be back ”
